Even as a free service, we comply with DMCA requirements

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

FreeQRPlus responds to copyright infringement claims under the DMCA. As a free QR code generator, we:

  • Provide tools that may be used with copyrighted material
  • Do not prescreen generated QR code content
  • Respond promptly to valid DMCA notices

Reporting Copyright Infringement

To file a DMCA notice, please provide:

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed

Identification of the allegedly infringing QR code (URL or specific identifier)

Your contact information (address, phone, email)

A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized

A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

Your physical or electronic signature

Our Response Process

When we receive a valid DMCA notice:

  • We will promptly disable access to the allegedly infringing QR code
  • We will notify the user who generated the QR code
  • We may terminate repeat infringers' access

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Identification of the removed content
  • A statement under penalty of perjury of your good faith belief it was removed mistakenly
  • Your consent to local federal court jurisdiction
  • Your contact information and signature

Important Notes

  • We cannot mediate copyright disputes between parties
  • Misrepresentations in notices may result in liability
  • We reserve the right to publish redacted notices
